Home Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 The distinction is very vague in Arabic between the words dar and bayt, both meaning “house” or “home<\/b>.” But after consulting a knowledgeable colleague\u00a0 (a Moroccan ambassador and man of letters), the author assumes that dar is more likely to mean a house as a structure or an apartment block and bayt a room, an apartment, or simply home<\/b>. However, in the ancient Arab texts the writer often jumps from one meaning to another, and I have taken real pain trying to disentangle them, as usual. Home symbolizes the man’s wife sheltered under his roof and to whom he goes, whence the expression “He went home<\/b>.” Therefore, home<\/b> and wife are synonyms. The door is her vagina or her face, the closet or the safe a maiden, like the dreamer’s daughter, whom he does not penetrate, as they are covered or hidden places in which he does not sleep. The servants\u00a0 quarters symbolize the servant (s). The place where cereals are stored is the mother, who used to keep the dreamer alive and let him grow by feeding him milk. The toilet represents those servants who are in charge of cleaning and washing or the dreamer’s wife, whom he embraces and penetrates when isolated, i.e., away from his children and the rest of the household. Home Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 o Looking from the kowwa\u00a0 (a kind of small window in old houses): The dreamer is in the habit of contemplating his wife’s vagina or ass.

If one gets angry for material gains in a dream, it means that he has disdain and contempt toward Allah’s religion. Incident – Seeing Two Sheeps fightings right next to your wife Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 Ibn Sirin (RA) was approached by a person who said that he saw a very shameful and disturbing dream and that he was ashamed to reveal it because of its nature. The Imaam asked him to write down the dream on a sheet of paper. He wrote that he had been away from home<\/b> for three months. During his absence he dreamed that he has returned home<\/b>, finding this wife asleep on her bed while two sheep with horns were engaged in battle near her bed. The one injured the other. Because of this dream he has avoided approaching his wife and yet, by Allah, he loved her a great deal. When the Imaam read this letter, he said to him not to leave his wife as she was a chaste and honourable woman. He explained the dream thus: “When she heard that you were returning home<\/b> shortly, in fact you were almost home<\/b>, she urgently sought for something with which to remove her public hair. Mattress Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 If one does not like to sleep on his mattress in a dream and prefers to find another place to rest, it means that he will renounce his conjugal life. Folding one’s mattress and placing it aside in a dream means leaving<\/b> one’s home<\/b> for a long journey, divorcing one’s wife, or avoiding to sleep with her for one reason or another, or it could mean the death of either the husband or the wife. Sitting over one’s bed in a dream means gaining authority, or managing someone’s business. Sleeping in a dream means heedlessness, or it could mean peace and tranquillity. Swallow Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 The swallow or swift, which the Arabs literally call paradise bird, is a blessed man or a blessed woman belonging to someone. It could also refer to a young boy who reads the Holy Quran properly. Other interpretations include a devout individual who fears God and is nice to others, a man of letters, or a person who comes to others\u00a0 rescue. It is a good augury for future actions, especially for the planting of trees.
o Seeing swallows in one’s house or owning plenty of them: Honest money.
o Seeing swallows leaving<\/b> one’s home<\/b>: Relatives will depart.
o Seizing a swallow: Illegal money.

Village Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 If a village is completely destroyed by fire, or floods, or freezing temperature, or by locusts, or plagues in one’s dream, it means suffering under the oppression of an unjust ruler or a tyrant, or it could mean destroying an anthill. Moving from a village into a city in a dream means leaving<\/b> one’s toiling and hardships behind him. Ants Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 Ants leaving<\/b> their colony in a dream means dying away of the population in that area, or that such a town may become a ghost town. Incident – The father that hid his money Dream Explanation<\/span> \u2014 A man hid his money inside his house and went on a journey. On his way back home<\/b>, he became sick. The man also owed money to some people, and he thought of telling one of his companions about the place of his money and to ask him to pay his debt, but he aspired for recovery and hoped to return home<\/b> and pay his debts in person. During his journey, the man died. His son saw him in a dream and asked: “What did God do to you?” The father replied: “My condition is in abeyance, and it depends on some debts that must be paid first.
